It is now officially Summer for me.
Just thought I'd rub it in the high schoolers' faces. Hah! Well maybe I shouldn't since a lot of my fans (that I do AND don't know) are still in high school. Anyway, sorry you guys have to go through however many weeks that are left...
So how did I kick off my summer?
What is that, I wonder?
So that heap of computer parts on the concrete is none other than my recently departed Microsoft XBOX. One lesson I learned the hard way is that you should never buy an XBOX used... or maybe you should just never buy an XBOX period. Chances are, as an XBOX gets older, it becomes senile and partially blind, based on the assessment that my XBOX couldn't read my brand new XBOX games...
Like the fate of any old thing, my XBOX needed to be put out of it's misery.
The battle between the XBOX and I was a great one indeed... Microsoft built a strong shell for an otherwise poorly-made video game system.
In the end, I was still in one piece, whereas you can see...
...was not the same tale for my cadaverous console.
(Yes, that's my 8th grade football shirt... and I needed every ounce of Tiger Pride to break this esse-oh-bee)
And so, as any Tiger-Proud man, the victor boasts over his success...
...and then that proud warrior probably took it a step too far...

So you guys have seen the extent of my gamer fury... that now makes my video game hardware death tally:
-4 playstation controllers
-2 super nintendo controllers
-1 NES controller
-1 Gameboy
-3 N64 controllers (all from natural causes)
-1 XBOX
I take my gaming seriously... and my inability to game even more seriously... my XBOX had to learn the hard way...

I'm going to laugh if it was something like an IDE cable not plugged in properly or a jumper put in the wrong spot. I know how you feel though, technology can be so frustrating.
Well, let's think.
1. No music—good;
2. Always readable text (to hell with dates)—good;
3. Not my kind of desing (seems to be without taste for me)—who cares, it's only an opinion of mine;
As a result it's a decent blog (which is quite good for xangas), which is not a diary [of a blonde], and has some meaningful (for some people, I guess) content. The style is not something I'll do, but, that, again, is only my taste and the presence of style in general is good. I won't do something like these (the majority of posts seem to be overly long), but, as there's no technical troubles and there's meaningful content it's, again, a decent blog. As I'm interested in a different kind of content I don't think I'll subscribe to this xanga, but surely I look at it from time to time.
As a result II: Stylish, makes sense, has a point, no problems with reading. Not exactly my kind of style or sense, but that is only personal and definitely not objective.
And, to hell with XBOX, this M$ beast
Actually, a problem has turned out—it's a bit hard to read the comments, because they are not on the white background, like the main post, and are hardly diffferent from the picture on the background.
I would say that I don't have much idea what to change and still keep that atmosphere. As it seems to me (and I might be easily wrong) currently it's something of the late 70s—80s. That epoch requires quite a bit of color juggling in the certain way and I don't think I can emulate it in any way
As I tend to value functionality and easiness of read in the design (simplicity also help), I'll try to do some mix of bright and non-bright light/dark blue, green, yellow, brown and, probably, yellow colors (although yellow normally looks bad).
I really don't know what to say, as your are trying to express yourself not only in the posts, but in the look of the blog, while I only use the look to make the reading simplier and easier (gray and black are easy to read for our hours). On the other hand, it's easier to create a simple decent desing (less elements to manage), than a copmlicated one, which requires lots of testing , as in my opinion, it should look equally not awfull on all the OSs/browsers/systems/monitors.

ive played xbox a few times. i really sucked at this lotr game..which was still quite exciting. and then halo...that seemed fun but i could never figure out what the heck i was doing. so i had to settle for a bugs life hahaha. oh well..ill stick to the ps2 thing...yeeeah.
